I look after cats in their own homes across South Queensferry and the villages nearby — and I treat every one of them the way I’d want mine looked after.
Cats have been my thing for a very long time
I started Purrrfect Sitting because I kept hearing the same thing from friends and neighbours: they didn’t want to put their cat in a cattery, but they didn’t want to ask a neighbour to do medication or a proper litter clean either. There was a gap, and it’s one I genuinely enjoy filling.
I’m feline first-aid trained, fully insured through Petplan Sanctuary and DBS checked. That last one matters more than people realise — you’re handing over a key to your home, not just your cat.
And this is Lewis
My own cat, nearly twelve now and on YuMove for his joints. He’s the reason I’m completely unfazed by fussy eaters, tablets hidden in food and cats who’ve decided that today is a hiding-under-the-bed day. If you’ve got a senior cat, I know exactly what you’re juggling.
What you can count on
The same face every time
Every visit is done by me. You’re not getting a rota of strangers, and your cat isn’t either.
Honest updates
If your cat has barely eaten or something looks off, you’ll hear about it straight away rather than at the end of the week.

Stored securely, never labelled with your address, and returned or held for next time — whichever you prefer.
