What happens while you’re away

One or two visits a day, twenty to thirty minutes each. Long enough to do everything properly and still have time for a fuss.

A typical visit

Nothing rushed, nothing skipped

  1. Arrive and say hello

A minute or two to let your cat come and find me in their own time. Shy cats get space, sociable cats get an immediate audience.

  2. Food and fresh water

Exactly the food you leave out, in exactly the portions you ask for. Bowls washed, water changed every visit.

  3. Litter trays

Scooped every visit and fully changed as needed. I’ll also flag anything unusual — trays tell you a lot about how a cat is doing.

  4. Medication and wellness care

Tablets, liquids, supplements or eye drops, given as prescribed by your vet and logged so you know what went in and when.

  5. Play and company

Wand toys, chase-the-string, or just sitting on the sofa being used as furniture. Whatever your cat is actually into.

  6. A quick look round the house

Post moved off the mat, curtains and lights adjusted, plants watered if you’ve asked. Then I lock up and check it behind me.

  7. Your update

Photos or a short video and a message before I leave, so you know how the visit went before you’ve even finished your coffee.

Also happy to help with

  • Senior cats and cats with ongoing conditions
  • Kittens who need more frequent check-ins
  • Nervous or newly rehomed cats who need a slow introduction
  • Multi-cat households with separate feeding routines
  • Watering plants, moving post and general house checks

A couple of honest limits

I can give medication that’s been prescribed by your vet, but I’m not a vet. If something looks wrong, I’ll contact you and your vet straight away.

Cats need to be up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatment — it protects your cat and everyone else’s.

Every booking starts with a free meet and greet

A relaxed half hour at your home so your cat can size Shivonne up, you can go through the routine, and nobody has to guess anything on day one.
